CenterBarks Dog Daycare- Thirsk

We first opened our doors in July 2025, starting our journey in a large warehouse space. By May 2026, we were thrilled to move to our stunning new 2‑acre site giving us so much more room to welcome and care for all our pups.

Our new home features three dedicated paddocks:

• Main Paddock: packed with agility equipment and toys for endless fun

• Second Paddock: wide open space for running free, plus enrichment activities like scent work

• Small Breed Paddock: our smaller, specially equipped area perfect for little dogs and puppies

We also have two spacious indoor areas, so whatever the British weather brings, your pup stays safe, warm, and happy all day long.

Set across a lovely 2-acre site, CenterBarks offers plenty of space for your dogs to enjoy the outdoors. We have three large outdoor play areas, together covering 1.6 acres of land giving lots of room to run, sniff, play and socialise freely.

 Every outdoor space is fully enclosed with strong 6ft fencing, creating a totally secure environment where your pups can explore safely, giving you complete peace of mind.

When the British weather turns wet, windy or just too miserable to be outside, our cosy indoor play area is ready and waiting. It’s a practical, comfortable space designed to keep your dogs safe, happy and active indoors, so the fun and companionship continue no matter what the forecast brings. 

Whether they love zooming around our fields or enjoying quieter games inside, we provide a safe, fun and welcoming place for your four-legged family members every day.

At CenterBarks, we prioritise safe, positive socialisation by specially grouping our dogs into compatible play groups tailored to each dog’s size, age, energy level, temperament, and play style.

 Our experienced team carefully assesses every pup to ensure they are paired with others who share similar needs and behaviours, preventing overstimulation, rough play, or stress. This thoughtful approach means every dog can interact comfortably, build healthy social skills, and enjoy fun, supervised playtime in a secure environment where they feel happy and confident.
